The quickest method of 'freshly' installing Windows 95 to an existing HDD.

This procedure assumes you have backed up your personal files somehow. I.E. floppies or tape or another HDD partition.
Please note - this procedure won't work with a SCSI HDD.

Stage 1. You will need to create a Bootable Windows 95 Floppy complete with CD Rom Driver.
Go back to the Main Menu & do it before you remove your old HDD.
Ensure that you test this floppy by booting your PC & reading a few files from a CD.

Stage 2. Boot off this floppy disk & when you see the a:\ prompt, type FORMAT c:
Answer YES & wipe your C partition.

Stage 3. Leaving in the boot floppy, reboot your PC for good measure.
Insert your Windows 95 CD Rom & simply run SETUP.EXE from the CD.
Thats it, just follow the instructions.
