This is how the car (should) look once the extensive restoration is finished.
After owning the vehicle since 1990, I decided to restore the bodywork in
late 1995 to its original condition.
To date the body has been almost completely rebuilt with new panels
sourced from various locations, including genuine Ford front wings.
Painting will be done soon in a slightly lighter & brighter custom mix
colour of Signal Yellow than previously done.
The 15" revolutions will be ditched in favour of 17" Rims.
They will be very a tight fit but the look achieved will be well worth it.
Mechanically, the car is not standard & is getting some improvements.
It consists of Group 4 adjustable Front Bilsteins with 260lb springs. Anti-dive Kit,
Quick-rack steering. 146lb rear springs with Spax adjustables. Heavy duty rubbers throughout.
5 Speed gearbox, single piece prop. & 3.89 differential.
2.1 ltr pinto stage 4 big-valve head, steel flywheel with Piper 285/2 Cam & matching
4 into 1 manifold & custom single rear box (right hand system).
Lumenition ignition is used. (175 BHP at flywheel).
Twin Weber 45 DCOE sidedraft carburettors are fitted with charge air system.
Front brakes are vented 240mm dia with 4 pot AP calipers.
Rears are Vented 238mm dia Ford Granada Front disks & calipers.
A fully adjustable bias-pedal box is fitted.(so no servo is required.)
Interior is painted yellow with no carpet fitted, only door panels dashboard & full rollcage.
2 off Corbeau Forzas & fitted with matching yellow Luke Pro harnesses.
A few extra guages are fitted.
Performance -; 0 to 60 in 5.5 Secs , 60 to 100 in 8 Secs , 145 at 7800.
Spring 1999 will see it on the road.

The Future should hopefully see a swap to a Vauxhall 2.5Ltr V6 Turbo (Calibra/Cavalier) Engine or tweaked aluminium 3.5 Ltr V8 Inj.
